Lovely shading. But I can’t help but think of the ladies’ hats you see in old movies set in the 30’s or maybe the 40’s, like “The Women “. I love old black & white movies, but I digress…lovely shading and they do look like angel wings! Clare

Thank you Clare ☺ I must admit I have never thought about collecting their feathers for any large craft projects but it would certainly be an interesting idea!

I love monochromatic stuff. I usually start a painting in light monochromatic (light brown). Nice work.

Thank you Miguel! What do you like to paint?

I paint landscapes, portraits (like on velvet), cityscapes. Like the Bowery, but I’m not prolific, so all has been on commission, other folks have my work in colors. I keep sketches on hand.

Wonderful Miguel! I would love to see some of them. Do you display them anywhere on the Internet?

I am not good with the internet. For this reason I don’t have a series of my work on display. Don’t know how to do that (ignorant). But there is one in my facebook timeline of a portrait I made of a friend’s pop. Fb Miguel Angel Oquendo, welcome to go look, if you so wish. I just put the darn thing unto my laptop cam. See, not too savy.

Ah yes, there is a steep learning curve regarding the Internet and how to acheive the desired results. I have experienced several frustrating episodes myself. I’ll be sure to check it out Miguel. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction 😊

Well, obviously I’m non-observant. I missed the part in the post where you said that. I may need new glasses. 😜
