You have to love tulips, don’t you? They are always the first sign of spring here, showering the landscape with their vivid colors and promising there will be more to come.
Visit Cee to view more lovely flowers.
Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Single Flowers or Buds.
I like tulips too – they are so proud and stately – I feel a sense of order and calm with them – as opposed to flowers that spread or have more fluff and drill – a beauty all their own- happy spring to you ! ☀️

I love your tulip pictures, Cee. But I was especially moved by your story about the little calf you saved. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Thank you for stopping to visit my blog too, Robyn. I am looking forward to learning from you! I have to admit that I do not know very much about gardening at all, not even the names of plants, and especially not how to keep my critters from destroying them! (p.s. my name is Kelly 😊) It is a pleasure to meet you 😊

Hi Kelly! Despite my blog’s gardening theme, I have much to learn about gardening and plants as well. It’s a constant learning curve but one I enjoy especially when I meet lovely people like you. ☺️

The older i am becoming, I’m learning to appreciate nature’s beauty in simplicity. Something like a tulip can bring a sense of gratitude.

Definitely. As long as we take a moment to pause and appreciate it.

I love seeing your tulip pictures. In Arizona it doesn’t work that way. The only way I see live tulips is potted in the house in December.

Thank you 😊 That is an interesting tidbit about potted tulips. This may sound like a stupid question, but donyou have to put the bulbs in the freezer to make them bloom? I think I read that somewhere.

Tulips have such a sweet old world charm. Your photos are lovely and quite surreal, the tulips look like I could reach in and touch them. 🙂

Your pictures are wonderful, love the centre one. My Tulips more or less finished, the Lilac is my favourite and the scent so wonderful, always flowers for my Birthday, my gift. Thank you for your blog.

Our tulips have come and gone already. I love them, they’re my favorite. It’s crocus first here, then daffodils.

That’s interesting, it’s a little different everywhere.

It is. I found myself jealous when we still had snow on the ground and Cee’s tulips were already blooming so beautifully! 🙂

I know exactly how you feel. It snowed here last week!😝

Hehe, see now for here, snow on the tulips is one thing…snow in May another.

Beautiful tulips! ☺ I really miss them here in Jamaica

I suppose they don’t grow there because they need to freeze and be reborn every year? I am just guessing. And thank you Majka 😊

I think it is similar with all spring flowers including daffodils, snowdrops, hyacinths and more. You are welcome! ☺

Ours have already come and gone. Early to mid-April, then done after a week or two. Its a shame they come and go so quickly. The Daffodils are usually our first sign.

It really is a shame that they are gone so quickly. You must have better weather than here. You wouldn’t believe it but it snowed here last week! 😝

Oh man, no thanks on the snow in May! We’ve been chilly past few days, but we’ve officially had Spring for a month or more now. 😃
