About

First some pics

This is my commute to work (excuse my dirty windshield). It can take me anywhere from thirty minutes to an hour depending on my mood and what songs are playing on the radio. Notice how I am actually veering into the other lane? Yeah, you probably shouldn’t do this unless you drive slower than I was or if you can drive with your knees.

This is my backyard. Well, it’s not quite my backyard because my yard site is filled with a bunch of crap I don’t want you to see.

Do you know what all of this beautiful blue sky and vast amount of space is good for? It is really good for being alone with your thoughts and… starting a blog. You see I have always had a little voice inside my head but I have never given her much credence until now (unless you count those once a month angry outbursts that some women are prone to.) So I decided I am going to allow that voice access to a keyboard and see what she comes up with.

What can you expect when you visit me?

I have no idea. I am a bit of a scatterbrain and I really like to ramble. Most days my thoughts bounce around my head like a Ping-Pong. They float in the air but never really touch the ground. I am hoping that, by beginning to blog, I can give them some solidarity – a beginning, a middle and an end. I cannot tell you what you will find when you stop in. I can’t even tell you what you won’t find. The way I see it, this blog is my oyster and, along the way, I can only hope to drop a few pearls.☺

Thanks for stoppin’ in
Kelly

  3. Hi Kelly, great pictures. By the way that shot of your “backyard” is quite something, To me it seems like the cowboy movies with all the vast expanse of grass and nobody around. Beautiful place it seems. You said you ramble a lot? My question is that living where you live, with whom can you talk?!!

  5. I like your site. I started writing mine without a true purpose and it all just came together in a way that satisfies my inner soul. Not doing it to please anyone else but it’s nice when somebody else enjoys it as well. It has become my ‘must do’ hobby.

  7. Hi kelly. This is one of the most entertaining About pages I’ve ever read – great sense of humour, too. (‘Humour’ isn’t a spelling mistake – I’m English. 🙂 ) Many people have no idea exactly what they’ll blog about until they get going and many do posts about lots of different, unrelated, things. I do a lot of posts now that I never gave a thought to doing when I started. You’ve been blogging for a while now, so I imagine you’ve settled into your stride. I’ll look forward to reading and finding out for myself. 🙂

      1. Canada is a beautiful country. I desperately want to get out there, especially to see the Rockies, but anywhere would do! Our youngest son is based in Montreal with his comppany now. Goodness knows when well get to see him! Thank you for explaining where you’re from.:)

          1. I don’t know what Canadian bacon is like – I’d assumed it was the same as ours. Perhaps it isn’t. Bacon is delicious, though. It tends to be mostly a breakfast thing here, although bacon baps (bacon in a soft bread roll) are sold throughout the day at many cafes, just as a snack – in the same way as hot dogs or hamburges are eaten. 🙂

  11. I’m glad to see that you decided at some point to blog. To unite the disorientation you have accumulated in the passing of the years. This will give you direction and not in accordance with general expectations. It will be a great journey especially for someone with your gifts (kindness and a good ear). Bon Voyage though it comes belatedly, you are still growing. Sincerely; MAO

I’m using the same Sorbet theme. Thru blogging 101, I’ve started personalizing it. You can change the fonts if you want. But I like it how it is!
